Setting Up Webhooks

Webhooks push Axion Displays Radar’s alert events out to another system automatically – a Slack channel, an internal ticketing tool, or any endpoint that can accept an incoming HTTP request. Instead of someone watching the dashboard, the other system gets notified the moment something happens.

This page is available to integrator accounts; client accounts don’t have access to it.

Adding a Webhook

  1. Go to Webhooks and click Add Webhook.
  2. Give it a Name (e.g. “Slack Alerts”) so it’s identifiable in the list later.
  3. Enter the URL the payload should be sent to – this comes from whatever tool you’re connecting to (Slack incoming webhooks, a ticketing system’s API endpoint, your own integration, etc.).
  4. Choose which Events trigger it:
    • Alert only – just fires when an Alert Rule triggers.
    • All events – a broader stream of activity.
  5. Save.

Managing Webhooks

Existing webhooks are listed on the page – edit or remove one the same way you added it. A webhook only ever sends data outward; nothing about how Axion Displays Radar itself behaves changes based on what the receiving end does with it.
