Satellite Modular Laser System
The Satellite MLS is currently revolutionizing the AV industry by decoupling the projection “Head” from the light source, making high-end RGB laser technology accessible and cost-effective. These modular building blocks allow users to scale from single-unit setups to massive, multi-channel domes and simulators with ease. Because the “Head” is separated from the primary light engine and linked by flexible fiber-optic cables up to 100m long, installers are placing projectors in restricted spaces where heat, noise, and size were once deal-breakers. This distributed architecture keeps the projection zone remarkably quiet and cool, while the compact “Head” consumes minimal power and simplifies the entire system lifespan from transportation to long-term serviceability.
The logistical shift is happening on-site right now, as rigging teams handle “Heads” weighing between a manageable 19kg and 40kg. This stands in stark contrast to traditional integrated projectors that can weigh as much as 150kg, requiring heavy-duty infrastructure and significantly more labor. By using these lightweight, simple building blocks, designers are bypassing the physical limitations of legacy hardware and deploying vibrant, high-fidelity imagery in environments ranging from corporate boardrooms to complex architecture.
