Quick Start Guide
This guide outlines the standard operating procedure for the Axion Displays Projector Blend Calculator. Use this tool to determine canvas resolutions, physical dimensions, and critical overlap zones for single or multi-projector matrices.
Step 1: Hardware Configuration Select your projector’s native resolution from the dropdown menu. If your hardware is unlisted, select “Custom” and input the exact pixel dimensions. Specify the orientation of the projectors (Horizontal/Landscape or Vertical/Portrait).
Step 2: Array Grid Setup Enter the total number of horizontal columns and vertical rows that make up your projection surface. The system will adapt the visual layout and total pixel count automatically based on this grid.
Step 3: Define Blending Thresholds Use the slider to set the overlap percentage. This value represents the amount of the image shared between adjacent projectors. Ensure this specific pixel count is entered into your media server’s soft-edge blending configuration.
Step 4: Physical Scale Parameters Input the measured physical width of your screen and select the unit (Meters, Feet, or Inches). The calculator will extrapolate the total physical height, screen diagonal, and exact pixel density.
Step 5: Review and Export Verify the visual overlap map. The red zones indicate double-brightness areas requiring gamma correction. Click the “Print Configuration” button to generate a standardized technical specification sheet for your documentation.
